Dear Friends in Christ,
Jesus taught and trained men and women on how to be a disciple. Some
Catholics are trying to live out their Christian life without adult training.
Are you one of those Catholics who have stopped learning about your faith since
you were a teenager? when you were confirmed? The Lord wants you to be a part
of a life-long formation process. Generations of Faith is a program designed to
offer an opportunity to grow in your relationship with God, through learning
more about your faith.
Beginning in September, we will study and reflect on the person,
Jesus.
Jesus will be our focus from September 2006 until November 2007.
I am looking forward to being an active Catechist throughout our
Generations of Faith program. In September, I will not only teach on the
Sacrament of the Sick but also give people a chance to experience
the Sacrament.
My friends, change is difficult but that is how we grow. For some,
it is difficult to accept that learning and studying our faith is a life-long
process. It would be easy if we could say we don?t need to learn anymore...but
that is how faith works.
If you have been reluctant to come on board with Generations of
Faith? it is NEVER too late to sign up and begin the process. I can assure you
that you will never regret learning MORE about your faith.
Peace and Blessings,
Father Fisher |
